Overview

In this role you will drive internal transformation projects and post-acquisition integration to enable fast, cost-efficient global growth. You’ll partner with the Corporate Development team and senior stakeholders across Operations, Compliance, Finance, Sales, Product and Technology to turn strategy into measurable change. You’ll own end-to-end workstreams, from discovery to implementation, and hold execution to deliver tangible impact. This is a high-visibility position that blends consulting craft with hands-on delivery in a regulated, fast-moving fintech environment. You’ll work where strategy, operations and regulatory realities intersect to shape Ebury’s future.

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end reviews of core operating processes (starting with client onboarding) and quantify value leakage
  • Map current state across segments and jurisdictions, identify cycle times and cost-to-serve
  • Design target operating states, sequence deliverables, and build the business case
  • Lead change with functional owners and measure landing success
  • Support market mapping, target screening, and competitive analysis for M&A
  • Perform due diligence on business models, unit economics, and scalability
  • Model synergies and prepare board-ready recommendations
  • Plan and run post-merger integration workstreams (operating model, systems, people, clients, regulatory permissions)
  • Define 100-day plan and track synergy delivery against deal assumptions
  • Create financial and operational models to inform capital allocation and decision-making
  • Produce executive communications and materials for ExCo and Board

Key requirements

  • 4–7 years of management consulting experience (Big 4 or equivalent)
  • Proven track record of owning workstreams end-to-end
  • Strong analytical toolkit: structured problem solving, financial modelling, advanced Excel
  • Executive-grade written and verbal communication, including PowerPoint for Board audiences
  • Degree in Engineering, Economics, Business, Sciences or similar
  • Fluent English with cross-functional collaboration across global stakeholders
