Overview

Senior ERP Consultant role focused on delivering value from ERP systems by guiding customers through discovery, implementation, go-live, and ongoing optimisation. You work directly with clients to understand operations, map processes, and translate them into practical ERP solutions that improve day-to-day business. This field-based role combines technical, commercial, and change management skills to shape how projects are delivered and how customers succeed with the product. You will own outcomes, travel across the UK, and influence product and service delivery in a small, agile business.

Responsibilities

• Lead ERP implementation projects across industries
• Drive optimisation and change initiatives in existing customer environments
• Translate customer workflows into ERP solutions
• Conduct discovery, requirements gathering, process mapping, training and go-live support
• Configure solutions and support adoption
• Build trusted relationships with stakeholders and users
• Challenge assumptions to achieve better outcomes
• Use SQL and data investigations for config, troubleshooting and validation
• Collaborate with Support, Product and Development to improve delivery
• Feed customer insights back to improve product, process, and experience
• Help shape delivery of implementation and Customer Success as the business grows

Key requirements

• ≥5 years’ ERP implementation/consulting experience
• Proven ERP implementation success and customer outcomes
• Experience leading change in ERP environments
• Strong knowledge of stock, purchasing, order management, fulfilment, finance, reporting
• Solid SQL and data investigation skills
• Experience discovery, requirements gathering and process mapping
• Confidence training non-technical stakeholders
• Strong communication and ability to influence
• Ability to stay composed under pressure
• Willingness to travel extensively across the UK
• Commercial judgement and hands-on problem-solving attitude
