Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver structural concepts from concept through to completion
  • Collaborate with clients, architects and fellow engineers
  • Take ownership of structural designs and solve engineering challenges
  • Ensure high-quality, cost-effective solutions
  • Contribute to projects across residential, commercial, education and high-rise sectors
  • Support delivery of projects with strong client service and communication

Key requirements

  • Experience in a consultancy environment
  • Confidence designing a variety of building structures using different materials
  • Experience in residential developments (essential)
  • Exposure to commercial, education or high-rise projects (beneficial)
  • Excellent technical and communication skills
  • Proactive problem-solving approach
  • Ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining quality
  • Knowledge of current design standards and use of industry-standard structural design software
