Overview

In this role you lead Optimizely’s Optimization Analytics, shaping how we measure and report the impact of experiments, personalization, and feature releases. You’ll guide a small, technically skilled team to ensure statistical rigor and credible results across the platform. You’ll own the product roadmap for analytics, partner across teams, and drive AI-enabled workflows that surface insights and ROI stories. This is a chance to build a data-driven analytics practice at a leading MarTech company.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a small, technically deep team of statisticians and a product manager, defining career paths and set quality standards
  • Own the roadmap for measurement and reporting capabilities (metrics catalog, statistical engine, events pipeline, program ROI reporting)
  • Ensure statistical validity across the platform and advocate for appropriate methods
  • Engage with customers to explain statistical accuracy and gather feedback to improve trust in numbers
  • Partner with Engineering, Design, Product Marketing, and Customer Success to ship usable reporting and measurement features
  • Build and ship AI agents that perform real statistical work and integrate into the broader AI strategy

Key requirements

  • 5+ years of Product Management experience, including 2+ years directly managing product managers, statisticians, or data scientists
  • Comfort working with statistics teams and understanding classical, Bayesian, or causal inference
  • Hands-on experience building AI agents or agentic workflows
  • Track record of owning a product area end-to-end with measurable impact
  • Strong technical acumen with data infrastructure, metrics systems, or reporting platforms
  • Excellent communicator able to translate statistical concepts for engineers and executives
