Professional Indemnity Lawyer

Overview

In this role you will manage a caseload of Professional Indemnity claims for a range of professionals. You will work within the Professional Indemnity claims team in either London or Manchester, contributing to defence-focused PI litigation. You’ll handle complex insurance-related disputes and collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the firm’s clients. The position offers hybrid working and a clear path to deepen expertise in professional indemnity and insurance litigation within the Lloyd’s market.

Responsibilities

• Manage own caseload of Professional Indemnity claims for professionals
• Handle PI claims with an emphasis on defence work in insurance litigation
• Contribute to case strategy and client communication
• Collaborate with internal teams to coordinate across offices and jurisdictions
• Adapt to hybrid working arrangements in a London or Manchester setting

Key requirements

• Fully qualified Solicitor or Barrister in England and Wales
• Experience in handling Professional Indemnity/Negligence claims
• Desirable: experience in insurance litigation and defendant insurance work
• Post-Qualification Experience in PI/Negligence strongly preferred
