Trading Systems Support Analyst

Overview

In this role, you will support Tower’s electronic trading infrastructure by maintaining order management and market data delivery systems across major exchanges. You’ll partner with traders to resolve production issues, enhance a Python-based framework, and apply AI-driven methods to accelerate system changes. You will contribute to monitoring, act as a primary contact for brokers, and provide after-hours coverage, all within a high-performance, collaborative environment in London.

Responsibilities

• Manage OMS and market data delivery systems across major exchanges and asset classes
• Provide level 1-2 production support and troubleshoot issues with traders
• Contribute to design and implementation of a reliable, self-correcting support system
• Enhance the Python framework and contribute to the codebase
• Leverage AI-powered solutions to speed up time-to-market for changes
• Contribute to monitoring stack and health reporting of systems
• Serve as primary technical contact for brokers and exchanges
• Provide periodic after-hours coverage

Key requirements

• 3-5 years in a high-pressure environment diagnosing and resolving production issues on the fly
• Good understanding of electronic trading and/or financial instruments (equities, futures, options)
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting with ownership
• Strong Unix skills and programming in Python; experience with scheduling tools (Airflow)
• Experience with Grafana
• Good understanding of networking and system concepts
• Willingness to take on tasks of varying size
• Excellent communication skills and fluency in English
• Passion for learning and innovative problem-solving
• Experience with SQL and databases is a plus
