Overview
As Director of Finance, you will lead the hotel’s financial strategy, partnering with the General Manager, Executive Committee, ownership, and Marriott International to drive profitability and asset value. You’ll oversee planning, budgeting, forecasting, risk and compliance, and capital investment while guiding operational leadership. This high-visibility role focuses on influencing decisions with financial insight to sustain a premier luxury destination. You will shape financial performance in collaboration with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities
- Provide strategic financial direction for the hotel, ownership, and Marriott International
- Oversee business planning, budgeting, forecasting, and capital investment
- Manage compliance, risk, and internal/external audits
- Translate financial information into actionable business insights for leadership
- Partner with General Managers, ownership groups, and executives to deliver results
- Lead and develop a high-performing finance team
- Ensure strong financial controls and cash flow management
- Support decision-making with timely, insightful reporting
Key requirements
- Significant senior finance leadership experience in a hotel environment (Director of Finance, Financial Controller, or equivalent)
- Experience in large, complex, multi-revenue-stream hotel operations (rooms, F&B, events, leisure)
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related discipline; strong technical accounting expertise
- Proven budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, cash flow management, and capital planning
- Ability to partner with GMs, executives, ownership, and corporate stakeholders to drive commercial results
- Strong commercial acumen with ability to identify revenue growth, cost optimization, and efficiency gains
- Outstanding communication and influencing skills; translate financials into business insight
