Overview
As a Senior Corporate Solicitor / Partner, you will play a key role in growing and shaping a top-tier corporate practice. You will develop client relationships, drive new business, and help build out the department in a collaborative, hybrid environment. You will work with senior lawyers on high-value M&A and corporate advisory matters for entrepreneurs, SMEs, and international clients. This is a leadership-focused opportunity with visibility into strategy, mentorship, and potential progression to partnership, within a renowned firm culture.
Responsibilities
- Develop and deepen client relationships and secure new business
- Lead and mentor junior lawyers
- Help scale and shape the corporate department
- Collaborate with senior lawyers and Heads of Department on complex matters
- Manage 5M-10M+ M&A and corporate advisory transactions
- Contribute to cross-referral opportunities across practice areas
- Drive the firm’s growth strategy and leadership initiatives
Key requirements
- Senior Corporate Solicitor or Partner with private company M&A and corporate advisory experience
- Experience with 5M-10M+ transactions
- Business development ability and referrer network
- Mentoring and development of junior lawyers
- Commercial and entrepreneurial mindset with leadership ambition
- Ability to work autonomously in a hybrid environment
- International exposure or language skills (advantageous)
