Senior Infrastructure Engineer

Overview

In this role you will lead and deliver multidisciplinary infrastructure projects from planning to implementation, shaping solutions for local needs and large-scale city planning. You’ll work within the UK Infrastructure Group to support the firm’s mission of integrated, multi-disciplinary delivery. The role challenges you with complex design reviews, resource planning and team mentorship, while contributing to a strong project pipeline. You’ll collaborate across disciplines to drive sustainable and efficient infrastructure solutions at a global scale.

Responsibilities

• Manage delivery of multidisciplinary projects, balancing demands and priorities and reviewing civil infrastructure design from proposition to construction
• Plan project resources and finances and monitor financial performance
• Lead and mentor technical staff, contribute to workload planning, and develop junior team members
• Prepare and review technical reports, specifications and schedules
• Contribute to work-winning activities to secure the group’s project pipeline

Key requirements

• Strong technical background in infrastructure design with a demonstrated specialism in highways, utilities, or sustainable drainage
• Experience delivering multidisciplinary projects with team leadership and strong communication/presentation skills
• Willingness to travel and drive continuous quality improvement in work
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D and MicroDrainage
• Member of a relevant professional institution
