Overview
In this role you will support cost management and project controls, focusing on invoice processing, cost administration, and financial reporting. You will work with project teams, commercial, and suppliers to keep costs accurately recorded and reported. You’ll help implement cost control systems, set up POs/WOs, and contribute to month-end closes and forecasts. Your work enables transparent cost tracking and timely payments, supporting project success and governance. Responsibilities
- Support cost control system implementation and maintenance to track budgets, commitments, actual costs, and forecasts.
- Process, validate, and reconcile supplier invoices for accuracy and contract compliance.
- Create and maintain Cost Breakdown Structures aligned to Work Breakdown Structures.
- Set up and manage Purchase Orders, Work Orders, and requisitions for accurate cost capture.
- Monitor invoice status, resolve discrepancies with suppliers and internal stakeholders, and ensure timely payments.
- Assist in accruals and reflect actual costs in project reporting cycles.
- Maintain cost records and support month-end reporting and forecast updates.
- Support change control with cost and invoice information.
Key requirements
- Experience or exposure to invoice processing, accounts payable, cost administration, or financial controls.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office tools.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced project environment.
