Partner – Payments Consulting Lead

Overview

As the BFS Payments Advisory Leader in UKI, you will shape and scale Wipro’s payments consulting practice within the AI-led transformation agenda. You’ll lead strategy, client relationships, and large multi-shore delivery to drive revenue and measurable business impact. You’ll build senior partnerships with CXOs and position Wipro as a premier AI transformation partner for financial services. This role combines thought leadership, market shaping, and execute-to-deliver capabilities in a fast-growing area.

Responsibilities

• Drive revenue and market presence for the payments consulting practice in UKI
• Define regional advisory and go-to-market strategy for payments
• Lead large cross-border, multi-shore transformation programs
• Build and sustain senior client relationships with CXOs
• Shape thought leadership and market propositions in AI-powered payments
• Originate and convert consulting opportunities for profitable growth
• Oversee delivery with commercial accountability across distributed teams
• Champion AI-driven transformation and payments modernization initiatives
• Mentor and develop talent into future consulting leaders

Key requirements

• Strong leadership, communications, and relationship-building skills
• Proven ability to generate consulting business from new and existing accounts
• Extensive networks in the UKI BFS market
• Self-sufficient, proactive in business development, and capable of sell-and-deliver execution
• Experience delivering multi-shore projects with distributed teams
• Track record in transforming payments-related capabilities and operating models
• Ability to engage with CxO stakeholders on strategic AI and transformation programs
• Knowledge of payments tech and platforms, regulatory and compliance topics
