Overview

In this role, you will drive the success of Monzo’s Anaplan platform within the Finance & Anaplan Centre of Excellence. You collaborate with the Lead Solutions Architect, Model Builders, and FP&A to manage changes, train users, and assist in model development. You’ll ensure data integrity, model performance, and smooth delivery of enhancements. This position offers hands-on work on financial planning tools in a fast-paced, inclusive environment with a clear impact on planning accuracy and business decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Manage, triage, and deliver end-to-end Change Requests across Anaplan models
  • Support model building with architects and builders to test and implement enhancements
  • Design and deliver training sessions and documentation for FP&A and Finance Business Partner teams
  • Maintain data integrity, control user access, monitor performance, and troubleshoot issues

Key requirements

  • Anaplan experience—supporting and maintaining workspaces/models (Level 2 Model Builder certification or equivalent desirable)
  • Proven track record handling Change Requests and user support tickets in a CoE or similar setup
  • Understanding of Anaplan architecture, formula building, and active model development
  • Experience training users and enabling non-technical stakeholders on Anaplan features
  • Foundational knowledge of financial modelling, FP&A principles, or finance workflows
  • Familiarity with AI tooling and prompt-writing to improve processes
  • Strong communication and facilitation skills
