Overview
As a Quantity Surveyor in the refurbishment sector, you help the company secure full entitlement within contract terms and in commercial negotiations. You will work closely with managers to keep cash flow healthy through invoicing and timely client responses. You’ll manage valuations and ensure forecasts and revenue profiles are accurate and up to date. This role focuses on schemes like kitchens, bathrooms, windows, doors, roofing, and damp issues, contributing to smooth project delivery and commercial performance. You will operate in a collaborative, money-focused environment and play a key part in shaping project outcomes and contract compliance.

Responsibilities
- Maximise cash flow via monthly invoicing and resolving client queries
- Maintain accurate cashflow forecasts and revenue profiles
- Manage external valuations to align with main contract conditions
- Support refurbishment projects (kitchens/bathrooms, windows/doors, roofing, damp issues) with commercial discipline
- Liaise with line managers to ensure contract compliance and smooth contract flow
Key requirements
- Previous experience in a similar Quantity Surveyor role
- Knowledge of the Social Housing Sector
- Relevant qualifications
- Effective communication with stakeholders
- Confidence in negotiation and problem-solving
