Overview

In this role you lead and shape complex, technology-enabled transformations within Deloitte’s Major Programmes practice. You’ll work with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders to design, deliver, and govern major programmes that drive strategic outcomes. You’ll apply industry insights and a blend of delivery, digital, and change-management skills to enable successful transformations. Expect collaboration across disciplines, ongoing development, and opportunities to influence multi-year client programmes.

Responsibilities

• Lead and partner with clients to solve complex issues by steering end-to-end programmes
• Manage diverse project teams and engagement plans, including critical paths and interdependencies
• Identify Deloitte opportunities, liaise with stakeholders to realise value
• Contribute to account strategies and bids, bringing best practices to clients
• Design and operate project controls, RAID, and financial governance
• Ensure quality, risk management, and governance compliance
• Mentor and develop junior colleagues, acting as People Leader
• Engage with senior stakeholders and subject-matter experts across client and Deloitte teams
• Apply experience and tools to anticipate and address programme challenges
• Support business development through proposals and industry initiatives
• Share insights on industry trends to inform best practices
• Lead the design and development of major programmes including strategy, delivery, and commercial management
• Collaborate across Deloitte teams and uphold shared values

Key requirements

• Extensive experience delivering large-scale, complex transformations in private sector (TMT, Consumer, Healthcare & Life Sciences, ERI)
• End-to-end digital/tech transformation including ERP implementations
• Strong involvement in business development, bids, and capabilities development
• Experience within enterprise transformation offices or programme offices
• Strong commercial awareness with budget and contract management
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management at all levels
• Mentoring and people development capabilities
• Proactive, self-driven with a willingness to work in ambiguous environments
• Practical use of Generative AI tools to improve efficiency
• Strong interpersonal relationships with clients and teams
• Preferred: experience with major/large-scale programmes and recovery/shaping of in-flight projects
