Overview
In this role you act as a trusted procurement partner to key stakeholders, leading end-to-end sourcing across indirect and project-based categories. You will develop value-driven sourcing strategies, manage supplier performance and contract negotiations, and ensure policy and regulatory compliance. You’ll support strategic initiatives and identify continuous improvement opportunities within a fast-paced, collaborative procurement team. Responsibilities
- Act as a trusted procurement partner to key business stakeholders
- Lead and support end-to-end procurement across indirect and project-based categories
- Develop sourcing strategies that deliver value and mitigate risk
- Manage supplier relationships, performance reviews, and contract negotiations
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies, governance, and regulations
- Identify and implement continuous improvement across procurement processes
- Provide commercial and procurement expertise to support strategic initiatives
Key requirements
- Experience in supply chain or procurement within construction, manufacturing or public sector
- Knowledge of NEC and JCT construction contracts
- Understanding of procurement strategies, processes and commercial principles
- Experience managing supplier performance and contractual relationships
- Ability to engage and influence stakeholders across multiple levels
