Product Compliance Engineer

Overview

In this role you will support global product compliance for Traka and KEYper Systems, collaborating with hardware, software and sustainability teams. You’ll drive regulatory, safety, environmental and cybersecurity compliance across product lifecycles and across regions. You will coordinate testing, maintain technical files, and interpret evolving standards to enable ongoing product development and improvements. This position offers hands-on impact in shaping compliant, safer products within a global, cross-functional environment.

Responsibilities

• Support global product compliance activities across EU, UK, US, APAC and EMEIA
• Coordinate testing, certification and connectivity approvals with external labs and bodies
• Maintain technical files, declarations, test reports, certificates and software records
• Monitor and interpret legislation, standards and sustainability requirements
• Collaborate with engineering teams, suppliers and stakeholders to implement compliance requirements

Key requirements

• Degree, HNC/HND in Engineering, Electronics, Product Compliance or related discipline with at least 3 years in engineering or product compliance
• Knowledge of EMC, radio, electrical safety, materials compliance (REACH, RoHS)
• Ability to review designs, specifications, software configurations and test evidence for regulatory compliance
• Strong research, analytical, document control and organisational skills with stakeholder management
• Adaptable and curious with interest across electronics, mechanical, software, quality, procurement, sustainability and cybersecurity
