Overview

As a Chartered Building Surveyor in our client-focused team, you will deliver core surveying services across diverse projects. You’ll manage complex, multidisciplinary assignments from feasibility to handover, ensuring value for money and adherence to standards. You’ll work closely with Partners and a range of stakeholders to shape outcomes across the property life cycle. This role sits within a collaborative, inclusive culture that supports development, APC progression, and flexible hybrid working.

Responsibilities

  • Client relationship management and reporting to Partners
  • Deliver value for money through processes and procedures
  • Produce programmes, surveys and reports
  • Manage multiple live projects and on-site activities
  • Prepare contract documents and administer building contracts
  • Lead multi-disciplinary project teams and oversee H&S and commercial processes
  • Own projects from brief to completion and occupation
  • Undertake asset management surveys and planned maintenance inspections
  • Ensure compliance with Environmental, Health, Safety, Security and Quality Standards

Key requirements

  • Degree qualified in Building Surveying or similar technical discipline
  • Ideally MRICS or membership of other relevant professional body
  • Strong technical delivery experience
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects proactively and diligently
  • Excellent specification writing skills
  • Good knowledge of JCT Contracts
  • Track record in end-to-end project management
  • Client-facing with high technical delivery standards
