In this role you will step into a senior leadership position within an established London-based structural engineering practice. You will lead schemes from concept through to completion, mentor junior engineers, and own key client and architect relationships. You will shape how the team grows and have a meaningful voice in how the practice runs, with a clear route toward directorship. This is a hands-on opportunity to influence projects and the business, combining delivery excellence with people leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects from concept to completion across residential, commercial, and mixed-use schemes
• Mentor and guide engineers through technical delivery and career development
• Own client and architect relationships and act as a primary technical point of contact
• Shape team growth and contribute to strategic direction of the practice
• Deliver technical responsibility and carry project risk as a senior figure
• Collaborate across the business with potential to progress toward director level

Key requirements

• Chartered structural engineer with experience leading projects
• Proven ability to deliver schemes while managing technical risk
• Strong leadership, mentoring, and stakeholder management
