Overview
In this role you will own the end-to-end management of Clinical Development business processes, ensuring quality, efficiency, and optimized operations. You will align process objectives with R&D strategy and drive governance, KPI tracking, and system integration across Clinical Operations. You’ll lead continuous improvement to mature processes and support training for new systems, acting as the go-to decision-maker for major process issues. This is a chance to shape how clinical development delivers impact for patients and the organization in a global, collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
- Define and align Clinical Development process objectives with R&D strategy
- Set targets and embed KPIs within the CDO framework
- Design and maintain the process framework and systems collaboration
- Establish policies, governance, and controls for CDO processes
- Monitor KPI scorecards and assess process outcomes for ROI and quality
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives and process optimisation
- Coordinate cross-functionally to avoid silos and escalate major issues
- Act as escalation point for process-related decisions and improvements
Key requirements
- Minimum 8 years in the pharmaceutical industry with at least 5 years in GXP within clinical research
- 4+ years in development, management and leadership of Clinical Operations processes
- Proven ability to deliver a culture of continuous improvement and manage multiple projects
- Strong planning, time management and stakeholder engagement skills
- Experience across drug development process and clinical trial phases (preferred)
- Bachelor in life sciences (or similar) with language: English fluency (global role)
