Head Of Outsourcing – Central London

Overview

In this role you support Partners and Directors to deliver a high-quality outsourcing service to clients, driving efficiency and growth. You will own day-to-day delivery of outsourcing reporting and compliance, lead a small team, and champion the adoption of new technology. You will shape service offerings, train staff, and work with clients to enhance insights and value. This position offers scope to influence process improvements and expand the firm’s outsourcing capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Own operational delivery of outsourcing reporting and compliance services
• Line manage wider team and embed standard policies/procedures
• Oversee VAT returns preparation and review with central VAT team
• Ensure high-quality payroll service for clients
• Produce insightful monthly bookkeeping and management accounts
• Lead implementation of new software and stay up-to-date with latest developments
• Train the team on technical and systems knowledge
• Support partners to win new work and develop services
• Monitor pricing and financial performance of the Outsourcing service
• Develop client and partner relationships through visits and reviews

Key requirements

• ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualified
• 5+ years post-qualification practice experience in similar outsourcing/delivery role
• Experience in outsourcing management and delivery
• Working knowledge of QuickBooks, Xero and Sage
• Knowledge of QuickBooks/Xero app marketplaces and related apps
• Strong aptitude for learning new systems and applications
• Experience in a partnership/service environment
