Overview
In this role you will manage pressure systems compliance and structural integrity for a defined HPC scope, reporting to the Pressure System Completions and Integration Manager. You will interface with project managers, regulators, and the supply chain to ensure conformity and safety across all project phases. Your work supports the nuclear safety case and regulatory adherence for large-scale projects like Hinkley Point C. You’ll be part of a quality-focused team driving critical plant compliance and delivery. This position offers international exposure and the opportunity to influence essential safety and engineering outcomes.

Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain pressure systems compliance and structural integrity requirements for assigned projects within a programme.
- Ensure fulfilment of project policies, processes and contracts to meet pressure regulation and safety case needs.
- Make arbitration and technical decisions on behalf of HPC regarding pressure systems compliance.
- Manage pressure compliance and structural integrity requirements on behalf of the Programme Pressure Compliance Lead.
- Maintain SQEP status to support nuclear baseline requirements.
- Coordinate with regulators, project managers, engineering, manufacturing/installation parties, and supply chain to ensure delivery.
Key requirements
- Experience managing structural integrity and pressure regulation in the nuclear industry.
- Mechanical engineering design and operation of pressure equipment built to RCC-M or ASME codes.
- Experience in a multidisciplinary, matrix environment with regulators and suppliers.
- Knowledge of UK regulatory requirements related to plant is a plus.
- Ability to work independently or with others and influence stakeholders.
