Overview
In this role you will lead a Consulting team to uncover tax savings for clients, focusing on state and local tax recovery. You will maintain client relationships and guide complex tax projects across audits, compliance, and recoveries. You’ll develop workplans, present findings, and coordinate documentation gathering for audit refunds. This is a client-facing, impact-driven position within a respected firm that values growth, collaboration, and community outreach.

Responsibilities
- Develop client workplans and schedules for project deliverables
- Prepare and conduct client presentations
- Travel to client locations to gather tax documents for audit refunds
- Review and reconcile client data to identify tax issues
- Assist with client billing and financial forecasting
- Negotiate tax resolutions with state agencies
- Respond to client inquiries from state agencies
- Manage complex customs and foreign trade tax projects (audit defense, managed audits, managed compliance, reverse audits, tax recovery)
Key requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and/or Finance
