Overview

As a Solicitor in our Motor Volume – Injury Litigation team, you will manage a litigated motor insurance caseload from instruction to resolution. You’ll work with colleagues and clients to secure high-quality outcomes and contribute to developing junior teammates. The role supports continuous improvement across the team and aligns with a collaborative, values-driven culture. You’ll handle cases across Fast Track, OIC and MOJ routes, delivering efficient, client-focused results.

Responsibilities

• Manage a complex litigated motor defendant insurance caseload to conclusion
• Apply technical expertise to drive proactive settlement strategies
• Ensure files comply with client SLAs and internal processes
• Utilise case management systems to improve efficiency and outcomes
• Prioritise workloads to meet deadlines and targets
• Support, mentor and guide junior team members

Key requirements

• Qualified Solicitor (or equivalent experience) with strong interest in Motor Insurance litigation
• Proven experience managing a litigated motor insurance caseload
• Knowledge of Part 7 Fast Track, OIC and MOJ processes
• Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks effectively
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
• Ability to perform under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Commercial awareness and understanding of client needs
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and case management systems
