Overview

In Gartner Consulting, you will lead high-impact security engagements and shape Market-leading offerings. You collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate insights into actionable security solutions for executive clients. You’ll build and mentor teams, drive asset development, and strengthen client relationships at the strategic level. This role offers the chance to influence security capabilities across a global practice and contribute to Gartner’s asset-based methodologies. You’ll work in a fast-evolving digital economy, leveraging AI and market insights to deliver lasting client impact.

Responsibilities

  • Establish deep security-domain expertise (IAM, SOC, Cloud Security, DevSecOps, Network Security) and position as a thought leader
  • Create and maintain globally consistent collateral, offerings, and playbooks in collaboration with Practice and Industry Leads
  • Develop assets (tools, accelerators) and intellectual property to advance the practice
  • Perform qualitative and quantitative analysis of market data, primary research, and competitive landscapes
  • Lead client solutioning in sales pursuits within the practice area and articulate the value proposition
  • Drive high client satisfaction through quality delivery and strong relationships
  • Achieve practice and individual financial objectives and contribute to overall revenue targets
  • Build and mentor high-performing teams, develop training content, and support capacity planning and talent management

Key requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree required; master’s degree highly preferred
  • Demonstrable deep expertise in security domains: IAM, SOC, Cloud Security, DevSecOps, Network Security
  • Proven ability to influence C-suite stakeholders in a strategy consulting context
  • Subject-matter expertise in security with enterprise/government context knowledge
  • Experience designing future-state architectures and conducting option analyses for business cases
  • Strong business/financial acumen and analytical skills
  • Track record of achieving or exceeding revenue targets
  • Familiarity with architecture frameworks such as TOGAF, SABSA
  • Experience with public sector clients
  • Excellent collaboration and relationship-building
  • Executive presence and strong presentation skills
  • Analytical thinking with ability to translate data into actionable recommendations
