Multi-Skilled Shift Electrical Engineer

Overview

In this role you will perform planned preventive maintenance (PPM) in line with SFG20, statutory and contractual requirements, and handle reactive maintenance tasks including fault-finding and repairs. You will cover LV distribution, lighting, emergency lighting, power systems and controls to keep client facilities running smoothly. The position supports a leading facilities management firm servicing well-known organisations across multiple sectors, offering opportunities to impact reliability and safety in critical electrical systems. Responsibilities

• Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) following SFG20, statutory requirements, and contractual obligations
• Perform reactive maintenance tasks, fault-finding, and repairs across LV distribution systems
• Maintain and troubleshoot lighting, emergency lighting, power systems and electrical controls

Key requirements

• Qualified electrician (NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent)
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671)
