In this Finance Analyst role, you will provide financial analysis and insight to support the ACTS Programme, partnering with multiple internal teams to shape forecasts, plans and proposals. You’ll act as the financial conscience, ensuring policy adherence while delivering clear, actionable reporting. The role offers exposure to governance, risk management and business partnering in a defence contracting environment, with opportunities to influence quarterly forecasts and long-range plans. You will work in a collaborative, development-focused culture with strong emphasis on accuracy and process improvement.

Responsibilities
- Produce weekly and monthly reporting for all ACTS Programme elements
- Support metrics delivery (bookings, sales, profit, cash)
- Assist in developing the Annual Operating Plan and 5-year plan targets
- Support Quarterly EAC reporting for the Programme
- Contribute to new business proposals for Gate Reviews (pricing, basis-of-estimate, FX risks)
- Serve as financial conscience ensuring policy adherence
- Provide financial insight for risk/opportunity management
- Build and maintain stakeholder network
- Balance multiple priorities with tight deadlines
- Communicate complex financial information to non-finance staff
- Champion best practices and drive improvements to systems/processes
- Perform ad-hoc financial analysis and decision support
Key requirements
- AAT Qualified/Part Qualified CIMA(Preferred)/ACCA
- 2+ years of finance experience
- Project accounting experience
- Business partnering skills across functions
- Commercial experience in defence or complex contracting environment
