Overview
In this role you will lead the finance function for an international industrial company, guiding financial planning, controls, and reporting to drive growth in Africa. You will partner with leadership to ensure robust budgeting, cash management, and compliance, while safeguarding assets and improving efficiency. You’ll align financial strategy with the business plan and interact with internal and external stakeholders to support strategic decisions. This is a hands-on leadership role in a fast-paced environment with a focus on sustainable performance.

Responsibilities
- Lead the financial department, its staff, processes, and KPIs
- Oversee month-end processes, GL maintenance, bank reconciliations, and cost allocations
- Safeguard assets and ensure integrity of financial processes
- Implement and manage strong controls to reduce risk and improve efficiency
- Provide financial direction and planning to drive sustainable growth
- Develop realistic budgets, forecasts, and align to business strategy
- Optimize resources and ensure tax and treasury compliance
- Maintain integrity and strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Key requirements
- CA/CPA with degree in Accountancy
- 15+ years of experience as Finance Manager in complex, fast-paced environments
- Strong expertise in financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and performance management
- Solid understanding of international tax regulations; Ghanaian taxation knowledge is a plus
- Commercially minded with excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels
