Overview

In this pivotal role, you report to the site Factory General Manager and sit on the site Leadership Team to balance customer demand with supply across inbound and outbound flows. You provide strategic and hands-on leadership to manufacturing and planning functions, driving safety, quality, budgeting, and performance improvement. You will shape a high-performance culture, align teams to a clear plan, and collaborate with central S&OP to meet ISL targets. This is a chance to impact profitability and reliability in a fast-growing, purpose-led FMCG environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead warehouse operations with a safety and housekeeping focus and drive behavioural safety culture
  • Deliver departmental quality improvements including audits and retailer standards
  • Mentor and develop team members to improve operating performance
  • Design and manage Manufacturing Prime, Overhead and Operational budgets
  • Implement area productivity programs to offset inflation and reduce costs
  • Share standard methodologies across sites and ensure implementation
  • Create a performance-driven culture with clear recognition tied to measurable outcomes
  • Lead planning/MRP activities including strategic labour planning and cost performance (Prime Cost Variance)
  • Interface between site and central S&OP to operationalize production plans and achieve CTP
  • Coordinate inbound/outbound materials activity and optimize workflow
  • Support ALT responsibilities, including coordinating site-wide activities and leadership teamwork
