Enterprise Risk Management – Senior Manager

Overview

In this London-based role you will lead the roll-out of Entain’s updated ERM framework and foster a strong risk culture. You will liaise with management and the board to shape risk strategy, provide independent challenge on risk registers, and deliver insights to executives. You will also drive risk information production, training, and the adoption of AI within ERM. This position offers visibility across Markets and Group Functions and the opportunity to influence risk decisions at a global level.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate management discussions on risk at leadership meetings
• Ensure processes identify, manage, monitor and report risks per ERM framework
• Raise awareness of ERM within Markets and Group Functions
• Provide independent challenge on risk registers, including risk validity, severity and controls
• Advise on ERM application and share top-down risk communications
• Produce risk information for the Board, Audit & Risk Committee and Executive
• Develop and deliver ERM training as required
• Support IT and other systems to capture, analyze and report risks and control effectiveness
• Support adoption and embedding of AI within ERM

Key requirements

• Strong technical ERM skills in a large international organisation or consultancy (preferably non-Financial Services)
• Ability to communicate risk concepts to non-experts
• Experience designing and implementing good practice ERM framework components (risk interviews, KRIs, risk appetite, risk reporting, risk analysis, training)
• Experience linking ERM to operational risk management activities (ESG, H&S, resilience)
• Strong interpersonal skills to build trust with senior stakeholders
• Ability to work in a team and with little oversight
