Overview

As Senior Sales Manager in London, you will drive rapid growth for Checkout.com’s card issuing platform, focusing on travel intermediaries and fintechs. You will own the full sales cycle, from pipeline development to proposals, collaborating with technology and business teams to position our capabilities. You’ll provide consultative expertise to prospects and manage multi‑stakeholder deals in a fast‑growing fintech environment. The role includes an uncapped commissions plan and room to shape enterprise card programs at scale.

• Pipeline growth for card issuing across verticals
• Solution selling to travel intermediaries and fintech clients
• Consultative expert guiding prospects on product capabilities
• Proposal management highlighting ROI of switching to a modern issuer
• Full cycle orchestration as main point of contact for clients and internal stakeholders
• Collaboration with Sales team to share insights and trends
• Market intelligence on local trends, competitors, customer needs, and product/marketing feedback

Key requirements

• 5+ years of sales experience
• 3+ years in Payments or Card Issuing
• Solid network of prospects and partners
• Proficient in AI-powered sales tools for prospecting and deal intelligence
• Tech-savvy with a passion for how technology transforms finance
• Strong understanding of financial factors including interchange mechanics and card schemes
• Exceptional communication and negotiation skills for multi-stakeholder deals
