Overview

As a member of Deloitte’s Digital Regulation team, you help clients navigate evolving digital regulations affecting platforms, tech, and online services. You’ll contribute to end-to-end regulatory lifecycle work, from governance design to risk assessment and audits, across multiple industries. The role emphasizes practical implementation, advisory delivery, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to mitigate risk and promote compliant digital transformation. This is a chance to work on high-impact regulatory challenges at a global scale, with flexible hybrid arrangements in London or Manchester.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement enterprise governance, risk and compliance frameworks
  • Conduct regulatory risk assessments (e.g., online safety, privacy, compliance)
  • Document regulatory controls and support for independent audits (ISAE3000)
  • Establish Trust & Safety and Content Compliance processes (minor/vulnerable users, deepfakes, NCII)
  • Advise on regulatory domains including internet regulation, AI and media regulation
  • Underpin compliance processes with RegTech solutions
  • Collaborate with clients to assess and improve risk and compliance capabilities across industries
  • Provide advisory, process, capability, and technology improvement recommendations

Key requirements

  • Background in Governance, Risk, Ethics and/or Compliance (industry or professional services)
  • Proven track record delivering complex projects with tight timelines
  • Knowledge of flagship digital regulations (EU DSA/DMA, EU AI Act, UK Online Safety Act, UK Media Act)
  • Interest in digital technologies and societal impacts of harms
  • Experience supervising and mentoring team members; performance management
  • Willingness to travel to client sites and adapt to flexible hours
