Overview
In this role you lead Beck House, a 6-bed residential service in Darlington, ensuring high-quality, specialist care for adults with learning disabilities, autism and communication differences. You’ll manage operations 37.5 hours weekly, build strong ties with community and external partners, and drive financial and care quality outcomes. You will leverage NHS/private sector nursing experience (RNLD/RMN) to shape care delivery and commercial opportunities. You’ll thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented culture that prioritizes meaningful impact.

Responsibilities
- Provide overall leadership and management of Beck House
- Develop close working relationships with community multi-disciplinary teams and external stakeholders
- Ensure delivery of excellent care and meet operational performance targets
- Drive commercial opportunities with purchasers and referrers
- Contribute to strategic development and alignment with business plan and objectives
- Promote high-quality outcomes and maintain Elysium Healthcare reputation
Key requirements
- Management track record in the healthcare sector
- Understanding of mental health and learning disabilities
- Strong commercial acumen (budget control, business development, revenue generation)
- Inclusive, supportive, and strong leadership style
- Have a valid NMC pin
- At least 5 years’ experience as an RNLD or RMN
