Technology Sourcing Manager

Overview

As Technology Sourcing Manager you lead end-to-end procurement for technology across software, hardware, cloud, and digital programmes. You partner with stakeholders, suppliers and technical teams to secure commercial value while upholding governance and procurement requirements. You’ll manage high-value, complex technology procurements and support critical business initiatives in a large infrastructure context. This role offers scope to broaden technology procurement expertise and influence major programmes.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end sourcing activities across technology categories
• Partner with stakeholders, suppliers and technical teams to deliver value
• Ensure governance and procurement compliance across procurements
• Manage a portfolio of high-value, complex technology procurements
• Engage with leading suppliers and support critical business initiatives
• Support tendering, negotiations and contract awards (where applicable)

Key requirements

• Procurement, sourcing or commercial experience within Technology, IT, Telecoms or Digital environments
• Strong stakeholder and supplier management skills
• Experience supporting or leading tenders, negotiations and contract awards
• Strong commercial awareness with ability to manage risk and deliver value
• Proactive and collaborative approach with ability to manage multiple priorities
