Responsibilities

• Develop and execute category strategies across the Logistics portfolio
• Lead complex sourcing projects, tenders and significant commercial negotiations to deliver cost optimisation
• Ensure robust commercial governance, risk management and supplier compliance
• Analyze spend, market trends and supplier capabilities to inform decisions
• Partner with senior stakeholders across Supply Chain, Logistics and Operations to understand priorities and deliver commercial solutions
• Play a key role in ASDA’s Procurement Transformation Programme
• Support the delivery of strategic logistics, transportation and supply chain initiatives across the ASDA network

Key requirements

• Significant experience in Procurement, Strategic Sourcing or Category Management
• Strong commercial negotiation and contract management expertise
• Experience managing complex, high-value supplier relationships
• Experience influencing senior stakeholders within large organisations
• Strong commercial acumen and analytical capability
