Manager, Finance Lead, SAP Public Cloud, Technology and Transformation

Overview

In this role you lead SAP FI/CO delivery on S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition across multiple client engagements, shaping scope and driving design decisions with senior finance stakeholders. You’ll own end-to-end Finance delivery, including configuration, testing, cutover, and hypercare, while guiding a Finance team and ensuring quality. You’ll contribute to bids, develop accelerators, and manage the financial health of your workstream. This is a high-ownership, transformation-focused role within Deloitte’s SAP CoE in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Lead Finance (FI/CO) delivery across engagements and client portfolio
• Shape scope with client finance directors and programme leads
• Chair Fit-to-Standard workshops and act as design authority for Finance decisions
• Own configuration quality, testing, cutover, and hypercare to go-live
• Manage and develop a Finance team (senior consultants, consultants, analysts)
• Oversee plan, budget, risk, change control, and reporting for the workstream
• Contribute to bids and proposals, shaping solutions and estimates
• Develop and expand Finance accelerators reused across clients
• Maintain commercial health of the workstream (fixed fee/outcome-based engagements)
• Engage with Government & Public Sector contexts and security clearance requirements

Key requirements

• Demonstrable experience leading FI/CO workstreams through multiple full lifecycle SAP implementations
• Hands-on delivery experience of S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition Finance using Fit-to-Standard
• Experience managing and developing teams of SAP consultants
• Confidence leading workshops and design decisions with senior finance stakeholders (FDs, heads of finance)
• Experience managing plan, budget, risks and commercials of a workstream on fixed-fee or outcome-based engagements
• Experience contributing to bids and proposals, including solution shaping and client presentations
• UK security clearance or eligibility to apply (government/public sector context)
