Overview
In this General Manager role, you will lead Wardington House, a 45-resident nursing home with a dementia-focused, dignity-centred ethos. You will work with owners and a skilled management team to sustain excellent resident and family experience while strengthening governance, regulation, and commercial performance. You will oversee operations, people, culture, quality, and risk, ensuring a safe, welcoming, and compliant environment. Responsibilities
- Overall operational and business management of the Home
- People and culture leadership
- Regulation and compliance (CQC and adult social care)
- Finance and HR oversight
- Quality and risk management
- Facilities, catering, and housekeeping leadership
- Marketing and resident/family experience
- Collaboration with Head of Nursing and senior management team
Key requirements
- Senior management experience, preferably in care/homecare or regulated healthcare
- Good working knowledge of CQC requirements and adult social care regulation
- Competence for CQC Registered Manager status
