In this HR Advisor role, you provide generalist HR guidance to legal and business services teams within a leading law firm. You’ll support key HR processes in the UK and globally as part of a client-facing business partner model. You’ll influence people decisions, handle employee relations, and help design solutions that align with the firm’s collaborative, high-performance culture. The opportunity combines policy work, analytics, and stakeholder engagement in a flexible, hybrid environment.

Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day HR advice and guidance to legal and business services teams
- Offer mediation and guidance on employee relations matters
- Support design and delivery of HR solutions for client groups
- Coordinate material for annual appraisals, promotions, salary reviews, and bonuses
- Assist talent management and succession planning with HR Managers
- Serve as main HR contact for the British Virgin Islands (BVI) office
- Review and draft complex HR correspondence and contracts
- Analyze management information and flag issues to HR Managers
- Coordinate parental leave processes and ensure paperwork
- Manage absence monitoring and occupational health referrals in collaboration with Reward team on PHI claims
- Oversee end-of-probation reviews, issues, and documentation
- Conduct exit interviews and support immigration processes in line with Home Office requirements
- Contribute to ad hoc projects including policy drafting and system/process updates
Key requirements
- CIPD qualified
- HR Advisor-level experience in a professional services environment
- Strong PC literacy and systems skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
