Overview

As a Finance Business Partner in Technical Services, you will deliver strategic financial insights to support growth and decision-making. You’ll partner with operational teams, manage management accounts and budgeting processes, and drive with KPIs and variance analysis. The role blends remote work with on-site collaboration to support major contracts and sector performance. You will shape financial reporting, forecasting, and policy compliance to enable informed actions across the business.

Responsibilities

  • Produce timely monthly Management Reports and Accounts with regional contract coverage
  • Act as trusted advisor to stakeholders on financial position, variances and trends
  • Monitor KPIs and conduct variance analysis to inform short-term and strategic direction
  • Develop cross-functional partnering across operational teams
  • Improve working capital including debt and WIP management with operations
  • Prepare annual budgets and rolling forecasts for divisional results
  • Use Accounting System and CAFM system to analyse data and identify opportunities
  • Support preparation of financial presentations and reports for senior management and board meetings
  • Ensure compliance with group finance policy and establish new policies as required

Key requirements

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent)
  • Experience preparing, reviewing, and interpreting Management Accounts
  • Experience of budgeting and forecasting
  • WIP experience in FM industry (desirable)
  • Commercial acumen with ability to interpret numbers for diverse audiences
  • Attention to detail with commercial focus
  • Excellent communication and customer service orientation
  • Engaging client-facing capabilities for relationship building
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Advanced Excel and complex financial modelling
