Overview
In this Senior Building Surveyor role, you will provide expert guidance on construction and renovation while ensuring building regulations compliance. You’ll work closely with clients to understand objectives and lead project delivery with strong technical oversight. You’ll act as a bridge between clients, contractors and stakeholders to keep projects coordinated and on track. Expect to produce reports from site assessments and manage projects from inception to completion, focusing on quality and timely delivery. Responsibilities
- Provide expert advice on construction and renovation and ensure building regulations compliance
- Lead and deliver projects by understanding client requirements and applying technical knowledge
- Act as liaison between clients, contractors and other stakeholders for effective communication
- Prepare detailed reports and recommendations from site inspections and assessments
- Manage projects from inception to completion with emphasis on quality, compliance, and timely delivery
Key requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in building surveying and chartered member of RICS
- Proven track record managing a wide range of building surveying projects in residential, commercial and institutional sectors
- Expertise in building inspections, defect diagnosis, project management, contract administration, and building regulations compliance
- Proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit
