Overview
As Procurement Manager at Skanska, you will develop and implement category strategies, manage sub-contracts and supply agreements, and drive a compliant, sustainable supply chain across projects. You’ll balance supplier selection with customer and Skanska objectives, while safeguarding value and risk through robust contracts. You work with stakeholders to align procurement with project plans and the UK Business Plan, enabling profitable delivery. This role offers exposure to cross-functional teams, strategic sourcing, and contract governance in a leading construction group.

Responsibilities
- Develop category procurement strategies and obtain stakeholder approval
- Lead tendering activities and select suppliers aligned with objectives
- Procure and manage sub-contract packages/categories to optimise value
- Build and manage internal/external stakeholder relationships to support procurement schedules
- Draft business cases and recommendations for senior management approval
- Draft, negotiate, and execute robust contracts reflecting Skanska policies and mitigating risk
