As Solicitor/Associate in International Private Client, you support cross-border wills, estates and succession planning for a global client base. You will handle diverse international matters, liaise with clients and advisers, and contribute to marketing and business development. Responsibilities
- Draft wills, trusts and tailored client documentation
- Manage administration of complex cross-border estates
- Directly communicate with clients, advisers and international stakeholders
- Provide efficient, commercially aware advice
- Support and progress an active caseload
- Participate in marketing, networking and business development initiatives
Key requirements
- 2-4 years’ experience in international private client work
- Experience with civil law jurisdictions; Spanish private client experience advantageous
- Strong drafting skills and meticulous attention to detail
- High levels of professional integrity and client care
- Strong IT skills including MS Office and case management systems
- Demonstrable interest in international private client matters
- Completion of a recognised training contract or equivalent qualifying experience
