Overview
In this HR Manager role, you will lead people strategies for a Clayton Hotel property, shaping culture and aligning HR initiatives with hotel goals. You will partner with the General Manager and Group HR to drive guest experiences through high-performance teams. You will own recruitment, training, engagement, and IR/ER, while ensuring payroll and compliance support the hotel’s strategic growth. This is a hands-on, impact-driven position in a supportive, innovation-focused group.

Responsibilities
- Oversee recruitment and selection for the property, including internal hiring and succession planning
- Drive training and development to prepare talent for career progression
- Create and drive the engagement strategy within the hotel
- Proactive management of IR and ER issues
- Maintain HR records and documentation for compliance
- Oversee payroll budget and processing via Time and Attendance systems
Key requirements
- 3 to 5 years in an HR management role, ideally in a hotel or customer-focused environment
- Proactive by nature and a self-starter
- 3rd level qualification in HRM, Business or similar; CIPD preferred
- Experience in driving employee engagement
- Experience in payroll and cost management
- Ability to build relationships and influence at all levels of the business
- Strong understanding of employment law and related legislation
