Overview

As Operations Manager, you will lead UK warehousing and distribution teams to ensure safe, efficient operations while driving productivity and cost effectiveness. You’ll oversee health and safety, stock accuracy, and logistics, including expanding an in-house fleet, and collaborate with senior colleagues to optimise KPIs. Your leadership will foster a strong safety culture and a data-driven, process-focused environment. This role offers impact across the energy transition and growth of a dynamic renewables business.

Responsibilities

  • Manage operations and warehousing teams across UK sites and collaborate with the Personnel Manager to maintain a trained, productive workforce
  • Act as Health and Safety Officer ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and safe operations
  • Oversee stock control with Purchasing to maintain accurate real-time stock listings
  • Manage logistics to ensure reliable, timely deliveries and expand in-house logistics capacity
  • Identify and implement process improvements, monitor KPIs for quality, efficiency, and safety
  • Foster a culture of safety and productivity within warehouse teams and ensure cost-effective operations
  • Report to the Commercial Director and coordinate with senior colleagues across personnel, finance, and purchasing
