Senior Hardware Engineer

Overview

You will serve as a technical authority in a collaborative hardware team delivering bespoke and standard electronics products. You’ll influence design direction across the full electronics lifecycle and work with software, mechanical, test and manufacturing colleagues. The role emphasizes innovation and hands-on leadership in high-speed digital and related domains, shaping products for a global client base. Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and guidance to a team of 7 electronics engineers
• Advise on and support the full electronics design lifecycle from concept to manufacturing
• Collaborate with software, mechanical, test and manufacturing teams on multidisciplinary projects
• Contribute to designing full electronics products and bespoke hardware for diverse clients
• Mentor and coach engineers to enhance technical skills and project outcomes

Key requirements

• 10+ years of senior hardware experience
• High-speed digital design is essential
• Experience in analogue, power electronics, RF, FPGA (beneficial) and embedded software (beneficial)
• Experience advising and coaching electronics engineers
• Proficient in Altium and component selection
• Understanding PCB layout
• Experience working within multidisciplinary teams across the full design lifecycle
