Overview

As Trading Manager, you lead multi-asset execution for buy-side clients, ensuring best execution and timely, cost-aware trading. You work cross-functionally with middle office, investment teams, and external counterparties to optimize trading practices and data-driven decision making. You’ll manage risk and real-time execution quality, while developing client relationships and scalable processes. This role blends leadership, technology, and quantitative insights to shape execution strategy and improve benchmarking data. Responsibilities

  • Manage complex order flow execution for a multi-asset book in alignment with best execution procedures
  • Collaborate with middle office and counterparties to ensure accurate booking of trades
  • Work with investment, trade support, quantitative research and engineering to evolve trading practices
  • Maintain relationships with clients, vendors, and counterparties to improve processes
  • Perform senior dealing activities, considering investment objectives and constraints in execution strategy
  • Monitor real-time execution quality and manage execution risk through completion
  • Grow and maintain broker-dealer relationships and disseminate activity reports
  • Leverage benchmarking data sources and develop new data inputs for brokerage practices and commission usage
  • Present to client governance committees and participate in due diligence meetings
  • Develop business requirements, drive implementation with PM and Tech teams, and produce management reporting
  • Establish operating procedures for daily trading activities and communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences
  • Produce quarterly client and board reports on commission activity, research usage, and counterparty performance
  • Ensure compliance with global regulatory regimes on client commission usage and strategy-based guidelines

Key requirements

  • Deep practical experience with Institutional Trading, TCA, Commission Management and Regulation
  • Proven track record of reporting across asset classes globally
  • Extensive experience in a reporting or analytical function
  • Ability to handle large data sets and strong problem-solving skills
  • Experience across equities, fixed income, foreign exchange, and derivatives markets
  • Strategic thinking and ability to translate business strategy into dealing functionality
