Overview

In this Trust Associate role, you will support day-to-day administration of trusts and corporate structures from Jersey, ensuring high standards of client service and governance. You will work closely with Trust Officers and cross-functional teams to execute fiduciary tasks accurately and on time. You will handle documents, onboarding, and financial statements, while contributing to risk management and regulatory compliance. This position offers exposure to a global wealth business and the opportunity to develop formal fiduciary expertise, including a STEP qualification. You’ll be part of a collaborative team that delivers trusted solutions to high-net-worth clients across regions.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Trust Officers to prepare and execute trust documents (opening bank/investment accounts, Letters of Direction, Minutes, Powers of Attorney, Resolutions, subscription documents)
  • Process end-to-end transactions for structures (distributions, credit facilities, invoices, liquidations, transfers) and enter entries in the trust administration system
  • Collaborate with Client Advisors, Wealth Advisors, and professionals to ensure timely, accurate communication with settlors, beneficiaries and advisors
  • Coordinate onboarding of new structures with the new business approval team and opening of bank accounts with operations
  • Liaise with trust accounting to prepare accurate financial statements and ensure proper communication to accounting and fee billing
  • Support fiduciary reviews, compliance and risk management tasks to meet regulatory and group requirements
  • Assist in client meetings and other projects, maintaining accurate records and liaising with stakeholders
  • Maintain deadlines and adhere to risk and AML procedures while contributing to ad-hoc project work

Key requirements

  • Ideally 2–5 years of fiduciary experience
  • Proficiency in MS Office; adaptable to new systems
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Team-oriented with minimal supervision
  • High accuracy and attention to detail
  • Willingness to complete STEP qualification
