Business Development Manager – Process Instrumentation

Overview

In this role you will drive growth for a respected process instrumentation manufacturer by identifying and winning new business across UK industrial sectors. You will align with internal technical and sales teams to shape commercial strategy and grow strategic accounts. You’ll engage OEMs, EPCs and major customers, present technical solutions, and lead negotiations to deliver revenue impact. The opportunity offers remote or Surrey-based work, with scope to progress as markets and technologies expand, in a growth-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Identify and secure new business opportunities
• Engage OEMs, EPCs and major industrial customers
• Develop strategies to win new and grow sales within existing accounts
• Present technical solutions and coordinate RFQs/tenders
• Lead commercial negotiations
• Maintain strong relationships and ensure smooth account handovers

Key requirements

• Provable instrumentation sales experience
• Technical understanding of instrumentation products
• Excellent communication and a target-driven mindset
• Ability to travel UK-wide
