Senior Manager – Microsoft Dynamic 365 Finance (Solution Architect) – TC – UKI

Overview

In this role you drive the design, build, and deployment of a global Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations solution. You will lead architecture decisions, collaborate with clients to translate business needs into technical specs, and guide delivery across multi-geography projects. You’ll steer governance, risk management, and best-practice implementation while mentoring teammates. This is a chance to shape large-scale ERP programs within EY’s cross-functional, tech-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and architecture of D365 Finance and SCM solutions to improve efficiency for presales and delivery
• Collaborate with stakeholders to capture business requirements and translate them into technical specifications
• Develop architectural documentation, including designs, integration diagrams, and data flow models
• Chair Architecture Review Boards or Design Authority forums
• Identify and own technical delivery risks and oversee D365 implementation to meet timelines and budgets
• Provide technical leadership to project teams and promote collaboration and innovation
• Lead/configure testing and documentation activities, recommending best practices
• Evaluate ERP solutions to ensure alignment with business objectives and industry standards
• Drive presales activities and own the solution
• Stay current with industry trends and mentor junior team members

Key requirements

• Bachelor in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Business Administration
• Strong understanding of business processes across finance, supply chain, manufacturing, and HR
• Leadership as an architect on at least 3 end-to-end AX/D365 global rollouts
• Experience leading at least one functional area in multi-company, multi-country rollouts
• Deep knowledge of ERP modules, architecture, and integration capabilities
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
• Strong scoping and estimation knowledge
