Junior Systems Engineer – Quant trading

Overview

In this Junior Systems Engineer role, you enable staff productivity by managing desktop, server, and network environments. You will work closely with IT and facilities, supporting Windows and Linux systems, AD and enterprise apps, and AV/printing needs in a fast-paced trading environment. The role offers rapid learning and skill growth through automation-focused work and exposure to enterprise infrastructure. You will collaborate with vendors and internal teams to maintain reliable technology that underpins trading operations. Responsibilities

• Provide dedicated support for staff’s technology usage
• Coordinate onboarding for new starters, role changes, and leavers
• Support audio-visual, printing, and facilities
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with enterprise applications
• Collaborate with third-party vendors during installation of new systems

Key requirements

• Demonstrated interest and capability in technology
• Experience in scripting and coding (Powershell/Python/Go)
• Strong customer support skills (empathy, clear communication, patience, active listening)
