P6 Planner / Planning Manager – Aviation

Overview

In this role you will support major infrastructure projects by developing and maintaining Level 1 and Level 2 schedules and providing progress reporting. You will work with project teams to manage planning across contracts and reporting requirements, ensuring timely updates and interface milestones. You will participate in planning meetings and help maintain schedule interfaces while adhering to NEC processes. This position offers exposure to rail, airports, roads, water and utilities, with impact on project delivery and risk mitigation. Responsibilities

• Prepare and report Level 1 and Level 2 schedules
• Support planning-related responsibilities for contract management and reporting
• Participate in project and programme planning meetings
• Identify and maintain milestones and schedule interfaces
• Support planning and scheduling processes to manage contracts and contractor schedules
• Ensure up-to-date schedule interfaces and NEC adherence
• Monitor commitments to avoid breaches

Key requirements

• Experience in planning and scheduling for infrastructure projects
• Strong oral and written communication
• Proficiency with PC operating systems and basic software applications
• Proficiency with Primavera (P6) and Microsoft Office
• Knowledge of engineering, procurement, and construction management processes
• Understanding of engineering and construction management
